You could spend all your time in Brighton visiting their independent shops! My favorite area to look around is the North Laine, although if you look around you’ll find them everywhere! These shops represents everything that is special about Brighton.

You’ll find everything from vintage clothes, stationary, records and lots more!

Waiste Vintage

Wasite Vintage located in Gardner Street is home to beautiful vintage clothing, it’s other secret identity is that it hosts a plant shop on the top floor! Be sure to try and find it.

Hi Cacti

Hi Cacti in Seven Dials is a next level plant shop, they stock a beautiful selection of pots and plants and other beautiful things. If you need to buy someone a present and need some help the staff are always so helpful and friendly!

DOWSE

In Gloucester Road you’ll find DOWSE, a design studio and perfect for gifts and treating yourself to something nice.

I love their selection of prints including works from independent designers. Every time I visit I can’t leave without getting something even a set of their greeting cards.

Papersmiths

Paper Smiths is a next level stationary shop, if you like stationary you’ll find yourself spending a lot of time here. Perfect also for gift buying they source unique things you didn’t know existed.

Snoopers Paradise

Snoopers Paradise in the North Laine is a labyrinth of antiques and bric-a-brac! It’s too hard to explain you just need to see if for yourself. Make sure you look around both floors.

Utility

Remember those workbooks you get a school? Well they have them in here! The home of traditional household books and all sorts.

Dirty Harry

One of Brightons vintage clothing stores, they have all sorts in here. When I’m looking for something a bit different or just want to mix up my clothes a bit I come in here and if they don’t have it I don’t need it! Don’t forget to check the £5 rail.
